The Bankstown Arts Centre is a cultural facility, where artists and community groups collaborate to explore ideas and learn, create and experience contemporary community based arts.

GEetSmART: Smartphone Filmmaking Workshop
Learn all the tips and tricks of making a film on your phone, from what to shoot and how to film your idea, to which accessories to use and how to edit your films.

Join SF3 - the SmartFone Flick Fest Co-Founders Ali Crew and Angela Blake in a hands on smartphone filmmaking workshop. Make your own smartphone film which you can then submit to SF3 and other international festivals.

For budding filmmakers aged 15 years and over. 

Art Classes

Bankstown Arts Centre offers creative classes to students of all ages and levels of experience. Taught by professional artists, Bankstown Arts Centre provides stimulating and friendly classes that cater to your creative needs.

Preschool, Kids and Youth 2016 Term 3 Program (2-15 yrs)
Adult 2016 Term 3 Program (16 yrs and over)

  • Term 1 dates: 6 February - 19 March 2016
  • Term 2 dates: 2 May - 27 June 2016 (Classes will not run on Queen's Birthday, 13 June 2016)
  • Term 3 dates: 24 July - 17 September 2016
  • Term 4 dates: 17 October - 9 December 2016
