Mark your calendars for Bankstown Bites Food Festival on Saturday 30 July 2016!
Living up to its reputation as one of Sydney’s best and most loved food festivals, Bankstown Bites attracts over 10,000 people each year.
Foodies from all over the Sydney metropolitan area and beyond come along to enjoy the perfect combination of guided food tours, cooking demonstrations and a diversity of food stalls.
The Bites Food Tours explore the world of exotic and tasty culinary treats that we in Bankstown take so much for granted. Be astounded by the number of restaurants, cafes, patisseries and grocery stores that make up the Bankstown CBD. The aroma of spices and smallgoods and the temptation of Sydney’s finest Lebanese sweets are far too much to resist with festival-goers stocking up on treats to take home.
In the Bankstown Arts Centre there will be dance, film, art, crafts and displays for all ages. More than just a food festival, Bankstown Bites is food for the mind and food for the soul!
Show us what you love to eat and share it with us on Instagram. Snap and tag with #BankstownBites for a chance to win a $150 voucher at Aquarius Seafood Restaurant in Georges Hall. Competition period 13 -31 July 2015. Terms and conditions apply.
Celebrate Bankstown’s sister city relationship with Yangcheon, Korea by visiting the Experience Korea Marquee. There’s something for everyone; Korean wine and food samples prepared by celebrated Korean chef Heather Jeong, try on a traditional Hanbock and mask decorating for the kids. To read more about Bankstown's relationship with Yangcheon, visit the Sister City Program webpage.
See you all @BankstownBites! Expect a smorgasbord of food, tours, demonstrations and free entertainment!
