Australia Day 2016

Bankstown Australia Day Celebrations - Tuesday 26 January 2016, 10am - 3pm

There’s a new location and a new time for Bankstown’s Australia Day 2016 celebrations but the same fun and family-friendly activities remain!

Celebrations on Tuesday 26 January will be held at Paul Keating Park between 10am and 3pm.

There will be plenty for visitors to enjoy with free rides for all the family, and a free barbecue from midday until 3pm.

The new location at Paul Keating Park makes it much more central for people to come along and enjoy the same great festivities that have been a huge part of our Australia Day celebrations in the past.

This year’s entertainment line up will be headed by popular children’s entertainer, Sam Moran, and well known cover band, Old School Band, who will belt out some well known Australian anthems.

There will also be entertainment from the Bankstown Talent Advancement Program, and performances from some local dance schools.
