Local Emergency Management - SES
The State Emergency Service (SES) is a community-based volunteer organisation with responsibilities in relation to storms and floods. State and Local Governments both have responsibilities to maintain the administration of the SES.
The SES provides support to the Fire & Rescue NSW during bushfires, and to Police and other Emergency Services during emergency situations and at major community events. The SES can assist with problems on private property including damage from wind and trees.
