Bankstown’s 190,000 residents will soon have a new state-of-the-art community facility.

The Bankstown Library and Knowledge Centre is expected to be completed later this year and be officially opened in early 2014.

The new branding for the $20 million facility has been officially unveiled and appears above. The branding will be displayed on the fence surrounding the construction site until the official opening of the facility.

This Bankstown Library and Knowledge Centre will boast 5,000sqm of library, meeting rooms, 300-seat theatre, exhibition space and cafe.

Designed by internationally renowned architect, Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp (FJMT), the community facility will meet the current and future needs of our growing city.
