A new and improved Town Hall and Library Knowledge Centre will be delivered to Bankstown residents within the next two years. The new Centre will provide residents with a larger community space, improved library facilities and include a new cafe and exhibition area.
The landmark project to relocate the library and revitalise the Town Hall into one state-of-the-art complex is expected to be opened in late 2013. Designed by internationally renowned design Architects Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp (FJMT), the Centre will meet the current and future needs of our growing city and is destined to become the next new meeting point in town.
