Save the date and stay tuned for regular updates
Last year 10,000 food and festival lovers joined us at Bankstown Bites and from what we heard, they just can’t wait for this year’s festival to begin. If you missed out on last year’s Bankstown Bites make sure you come along on Saturday 6 July and find out why Bankstown Bites is one of Sydney’s best loved food festivals.
Bigger and better than ever, Bankstown Bites 2013 will have more guided good tours, more cooking demonstrations, more entertainment and more fun for all the family.
With an Open Day at Bankstown Arts Centre, live performances at the Arts Centre stage, displays, kid’s activities, free face painting and a sports clinic that involves stars of the Western Sydney Wanderers there really is more than one flavour to this year’s event.
Visit the 2015 AFC Asian Cup stall and you might be the winner of a Samsung Tablet, a poster signed by Shinji Ono or one of 500 Asian Cup hats being given away on the day.
Sign up on the day for a one-off NAIDOC Experience tour that will take you to the NAIDOC Week celebrations being held at Paul Keating Park. There you will sample delicious gourmet bush tucker that includes emu and barramundi wraps, crocodile burgers and kangaroo curry and be able to view some of the cultural entertainment and displays.
