Council values
Council believes in:

Council Vision
To continue to grow the City of Bankstown as a vibrant, strong, attractive City which values its people, its environment and its community, where there are opportunities to grow, achieve, work and live in an environment of compassion and understanding.
Council Mission
To provide:
- Good governance across Council operations
- Community leadership and participate in creating a proud and harmonious community
- A safe, planned, sustainable City which protects and enhances its natural assets
- Well managed services and facilities that meet the needs of the community, and that respect the environment and diversity
