Are you looking for somewhere to hold that special family gathering, 18th or 21st birthday, may be a 25th wedding anniversary? Bankstown has a variety of meeting rooms and community halls available for hire at reasonable rates. Facilities can be hired on a casual or regular basis.
Alternatively, if you are looking for a place to hold a performance, Bankstown Town Hall has 2 performance spaces available for hire. Both the main auditorium and the smaller theatre are set up in theatre style seating and can accommodate up to 928 guests (Auditorium) or up to 300 guests (Theatre.) Dressing rooms (8) are located on the mezzanine level and provide quick stage access for cast and performers.
Bankstown Town Hall also has the Lansdowne Room which is suitable for meetings, seminars or training courses. It can accommodate up to 180 guests and is located on the ground floor. Bankstown also has a variety of sports grounds available for hire whether for a casual social game or seasonal matches for a sport. Council approval is not required to use local parks, reserves or gardens for wedding photographs and other similar occasions, however Council cannot guarantee privacy in public spaces.
