Bankstown City Council offers services for people with a disability such as Meals on Wheels and Library Outreach.
Council works closely with local disability-related organisations and coordinates the Disability Expo and International Day of People with a Disability.
Council is a member of the South West Sydney Ageing and Disability Forum Executive Committee and collaborates with the community on various other projects and committees.
Council's Disability Advisory Committee meets quarterly and holds a Disability Issues Forum during the disability-related events.

The SWS Ageing and Disability Recruitment Kit was developed to help address the shortages in paid and unpaid workforce within the SWS Ageing and Disability Community Care Sector. Please refer to the SWS Resource Kit.
