Food lovers will be spoilt for choice on Saturday 31 July 2010, as the 6th annual Bankstown Bites Food Festival returns to the heart of Bankstown.

Featuring a variety of entertainment, live performances, international food stalls and family and kids activities, there is something on offer for everyone to enjoy.

As part of Bankstown Bites popular Discovery Food Tours, Sweet Fantasy, one of the many great eateries in Bankstown CBD's, will take part and be one of 21 businesses who open up their doors to the community. There are seven tours to choose from with limited places available on the day.

Marie from Sweet Fantasy explained "Staff at Sweet Fantasy are excited to once again be part of the Bankstown Bites Food Festival and are looking forward to giving the community a tour on what we have on offer" “Whether you indulge yourself in our famous chocolate eclairs or just enjoy our selection of coffee, we have something for everyone's sweet tooth.”

If you miss out on a Discovery Food Tour, you can pick up your own free Food Lovers Guide To Bankstown, which will introduce you to over 120 eateries, delis and fresh produce stores on offer throughout the Bankstown local government area.

Bankstown Bites will also feature the launch of Taste – Bankstown On A Plate. This book has been compiled from the recipes of contestants, judges and advisors from the Bankstown Pressure Cooks series over the past years.
