As the weather heats up, now is the perfect time to enrol in one of Bankstown City Council's swim school classes at Birrong, Revesby and Wran Leisure Centres.
Enrolments for term 4 open on Monday 19 September 2011 and the classes run in conjunction with the NSW school terms.
The program caters for all abilities and ages from 6 months right through to adult classes. With a variety of lesson options and different centre locations, Council’s swim school program is designed to suit the individual requirements of every swimmer.
Learning to swim is an important and valuable skill which could one day save your life, or that of someone you love. It is also a great way to keep fit and meet new people.
In Bankstown, Council is committed to ensuring we provide our residents with the very best swimming education programs possible.
Bankstown Council's swim school program is a registered Austswim program complete with fully qualified and experienced instructors and is run within the comfort of a quality indoor pool environment.
Each lesson costs $13 per child and includes pool entry. A discount is also offered for additional children as an affordable option for families.
Holiday intensive programs are also available and these run in between the terms. The intensive programs are a great way of fast tracking progress.
I encourage residents to come down to one of our Leisure Centres to have a look and find out more about the swim school program.
