Bankstown City Council’s annual Bus to Beach service will return in 2011, providing young locals with a free return trip between Bankstown and Cronulla beach during January.
It’s a great way for local youth to get access to a beach and enjoy their holidays. We all need time off during the summer to refresh ourselves for the challenges of the year ahead - and they could be the challenges of a new class at school, the first year of uni or a new job.
When you get to the beach, remember to slip, slop and slap and enjoy January in the sun and sand.
The service, for residents 21 and under and their parents/guardians, will operate on January 10, 12, 17 and 19. Spaces will be allocated on a first come first served basis as no bookings are required.
