Bankstown Council supports children's services via annual funding grants for the Bankstown Children's Services Forum (BCSF), the Bankstown Early Childhood Intervention Committee (BECIC), and the Bankstown Child Protection Interest Group (BCPIG). Although Bankstown Council is not a direct childcare services provider, Council supports the local childcare sector through co-convening the Authorised Supervisors LinkUp. These committees are involved in a number of events throughout the year focusing on the welfare of children, including The Children's Week Dance Party, and Child Protection Week. If you would like any further information or would like to attend any of these networks and events please contact Council's Community Development Team on ph: 9707 9637.
We also run holiday programs for children through our library services. Visit our library pages for general library information.
