U-Turns for Youth Program Receives Government Funding: Federal Minister for Home Affairs, The Hon Brendan O'Connor today announced funding of $100,229 towards Bankstown City Council's U-Turns for Youth project.

New Arts Centre On Track: Construction of the new $5.4 million Bankstown Arts Centre is well advanced and expected to be completed by the end of the year.

Performers Represent City At American Festival: Young artists from Council's Talented Advancement Program (TAP) will fly to the United States next week to represent the city at an international music festival.

Bankstown Bites Festival to Indulge the Community: Food lovers will be spoilt for choice on Saturday 31 July 2010, as the 6th annual Bankstown Bites Food Festival returns to the heart of Bankstown.
